There is going to be a special sale, close to my heart, starting Friday the 27th. It is a charity to benefit St Jude's Children's Hospital and is sponsored by the etsy team Jewelry Artists Guild (ejag). Several members of the team donated articles with the proceeds going to St. Jude's. You may even be able to receive a 15% off at another transaction from one of the donors to the benefit. This a new shop created especially for this purpose and its link is http://www.etsy.com/shop/teamejag attached is a picture of my donation
Happy Thanksgiving to all

One of the Etsy teams I have joined is the Jewelry Artists Guild (ejag) and I am proud to announce that starting Friday Nov. 27 we have a sale to benefit St. Jude's Research Hospital for Children. There have been 26 items donated and some of the members have added a 15% coupon if you buy any item from their individual store. What a better way to buy something special for you or as a gift and at the same time help a child at St. Jude's. St Jude's has been my special charity and I am proud to be a part of it. So, I urge all of you to do something nice for yourself and help a child

Not all my listings on etsy at this time are related to the Holidays, this pin happens to be inspirational. It is my "inspire" pin which is embroidered and very elegant. I like the message so much, I think I will make one for me to wear.
I understand that I can have my blogger tied in with etsy and also my facebook. I tried to put etsy on my facebook but don't know if I did. Will see what happened tomorrow, if my blogger is connected with etsy, it will be a BIG improvement. So far, I don't think anyone reads my blog, the only reason I write it is because I share it with my facebook so my photos are transfer ed to my profile and people can see them

If you have an etsy shop and you want to increase your sales, check Handmade Compete. It is free to download and if you like what you see you can pay $5.00 per month to receive this valuable information. You can find out how many hits each one of your items has had, how many hearts per month, how many sales, what items get the most hits by price and much, much more. I am glad I signed up and I would recommend it to everybody.
Today I listed this evening bracelet with the extra sparkle for the Holidays. See if you like it

Today, I posted my other Maltese Cross, this one is all embroidered in white and gold Czech beads. These beads are size #14 and look amazing but are a pain to work with. I used a full pack of needles before I was done, however the pendant turned out to be elegant and stunning.
I attended Tim Adam's webinar this week and learned a lot. Tim is the young man who helps etsy sellers improve their sales. Another helpful avenue is attending etsy's Virtual Labs, a lot of good information is offered during these sessions.
One of the etsy teams I joined, eJAG is having a fund raiser to benefit St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. I am so glad and proud because St. Jude's is my favorite charity. I'll write more details later

Today I listed a pretty bracelet on etsy. It is green with red trim, very comfortable, very colorful and easy to wear. Maybe tomorrow I will list a more dressy piece to wear to all the Holiday parties coming up.
I don't know about you but I enjoy being part of etsy's Virtual Labs. I learn a lot from them. Today I learned that it takes time to be successful at etsy, it takes time and a lot of work. I have only been with etsy for four months and I was feeling down because I am not selling 5 items a day..... maybe when I figure out how to bring my blog to more people, how to use the twitter and how to bring more people to my store, things will change for the better
